i don't know what you are talking about! i think it looks great! you do inspire me, however, to gesso over the old and start anew. it's all about the process anyway, right?

Hey...I thought your "not so good" and "worse" were starting to look really great! I think next time you should keep going before you gesso. I'll take your throw aways anyday!

I agree with the others, your page was coming so alive-and was really good! We often are our own worse critic though and only you really know if what you are seeing is what you're really feeling.
I have a painting I recently totally reincarnated and it turned out 100 times better so I know where your coming from though. :)

I thought both were very good pieces...Your post and comments remind me of myself--I'm so self critical and struggle with confidence....
However, the more we try something over and over, the better we get....
